Unimaginable Doors of Significance

Faith has the power to step you into the unseen and open unimaginable doors of purpose and significance! We all know we should believe God, but many still operate in fear, worry, and anxiety. In John chapter 6, a crowd of people came to Jesus and said, “What must we do to do the works God requires?” Jesus replied, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” 

What about this thing called faith or believing? The mention of it denotes seeing what others cannot see and accessing what is physically intangible. Jesus, when speaking to a desperate man with a demon-possessed son, said, “Everything is possible for him who believes.” Mark 9:23 

Yes, Jesus had the power to deliver this boy from demons, but in this story, Jesus made it clear to the boy’s father that the power to command demons was available not only for him but for anyone who believes. God longs for us to step into what is rightfully ours through the powerful name of Jesus! We are made in his image and likeness and are supposed to dominate in this world just like him.

Romans 4:17 As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed–the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were.

Yes, God wants you also to call things that are not as though they were! Your future is dependent upon it! Your future is wrapped up in what you believe and will, by faith, declare. Great faith is preceded by great thinking. Therefore, your thoughts determine your faith and your future! This is why the word of God is so adamant about what you do with your mind.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things

Colossians 3:1-3  Since then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 

Joshua 1:8 says, “Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

To grow in the life of faith, a person must set their minds on what God declares is true! God has great things in store for you! According to the word of God, your latter days can be greater than your former days! You are a part of God’s great plan to change the world and are therefore called to experience his glory!

Today’s the first day of the rest of your life, and God’s mercies are new every morning! Today is your opportunity to launch in the direction of God’s life and abundance! The secret to a future filled with the life of God is setting your mind upon what God says is true about you.
