Imagine a person coming to a large and beautiful picture frame that is the picture of life. And when they peer through it, all they see is themselves and how life affects them. Sound familiar? The most significant problem of all humanity can be found within that picture.

Most people live with their view of life centered upon themselves. Sadly, this tragic narrative was transferred to us through Adam and Eve’s partaking of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. (The do-it-yourself tree) The knowing Adam and Eve received through the tree of the knowledge of good and evil caused them to live a performance-based life focused on self.

This is why religiosity is so detrimental! False religion focuses on one’s works to deserve God and his favor. True Christianity is free from self and, therefore, free from the life of performance! Yes! There is a much better way to live! Regarding the big picture frame I talked about in the beginning, if you can imagine yourself peering through it and only seeing Jesus and what he believes about you, you will experience the life of heaven. Yes, your life will be on track, moving ahead with great purpose and meaning!

Romans 6:3-4  Are you ignorant of the fact that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? We were buried, therefore, with Him by the baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious [power] of the Father, so we too might [habitually] live and behave in newness of life. When Christ died on the cross, you and I died with him and were delivered from our imprisonment to the law and the life of performance. Therefore, through Christ’s death on the cross, we have been offered the free gift of stepping into a brand-new life where Jesus and his good opinion of us is the center of how we view life! This means a life wholly free of condemnation and failure! This means living a life filled with love, victory, power, and the anointing of God! Because of Jesus’ understanding of this new life, he told us to pray, “Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10

In other words, the life of heaven is accessible right now and right here! Living condemned and seeing yourself as never good enough is most certainly not for you! God, through Christ, has opened the door to a brand-new life of living in your true identity and, therefore, absolutely loving being you!

Those who live in Christ can be assured that their best is yet to come! Stepping into this new life that God has offered you through Jesus Christ is not complicated – as a matter of fact, God has made it so simple that even a child can receive it! Jesus made this point clear when he said, “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:3

Many times we try to figure out God instead of just believing him. The secret to living in heaven’s reality is accepting those spiritual truths and living in the unseen realm! Apostle Paul said, “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2Cor 4:18

Living the life of heaven requires receiving God’s free gift of righteousness made available to you through the sacrifice of Jesus. Oh, my dearest friend, it is time for a new face to be in that big picture frame of life! It’s time to step into the life of freedom that God has so graciously offered to us! Yes!
