The Power of Your Redeemed Identity
For me, the most heartwarming thought of all is knowing how intensely God loves me! God’s love for us is bent on us experiencing our redeemed identity in Him. God knows that when we live in our true identity, the blessing he has for us will become our reality!
Most people don’t feel excited about their relationship with God because they are so bogged down trying to do enough to please God and earn his favor. Such thinking cannot produce the life and power God has for us!
Those who have received their redeemed identity in Christ are able to experience a piece of heaven right here on earth! For me, it is beyond exciting to meditate on the fact that God’s plans for us are beyond anything we know how to ask for or even imagine! What God has for us is so outrageously amazing that we need the Spirit of God to reveal it to us!
Ephesians 1:17-21 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.
Do you get it? God is calling you to something more wonderful than you can fathom! The abundant life God lives in, and His power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead is for you to have as your daily MO! Crazy amazing! I know… these kinds of words often seem far-fetched and like a fairytale, but for those who believe, this is their ever-increasing reality.
Because of how beautiful God’s plan for us is, it requires our eyes to be opened to the glorious riches of Christ as revealed in the truth of God’s word! The revelation of Christ inside of you is what will launch you into your original genesis in God! Think about this; the God of the universe is in you! He wants heaven’s extraordinary life to be in you and live through you!
My prayer for you today is that you would believe the truth regarding God’s passion for you. If you are humble enough to receive, the following statements can revolutionize your life: because of the sacrifice of Jesus, you are as righteous as God himself! You are God’s eternal dream come true! The greatest longing of God’s heart is you!
