Seat of Royalty for You
There is a seat of prominence, royalty, and rest that God has prepared for you. This favored place grants you dignity and authority. This royal place is where God is and where Jesus, who is at God's right hand, also sits. When people have worked hard all day, they often look for a place to sit back and relax! Here in the book of Ephesians, apostle Paul describes this amazing place created for you and me!
Ephesians 2:3-7 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were, by nature, objects of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
The scripture says God has seated us—past tense! Can you receive that? Being alive in Christ is a state of rest and royalty inside of Christ. This abundant life is obtained by faith and empowered by God, who lives in us and through us! When we believe God, we enter into the rest that God himself entered into after creating the universe and all its habitation. This is also the same place where Jesus is now seated at the right hand of God. Listen to what Jesus says to the church at Laodicea.
Revelation 3:21 To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne.
There is a place prepared for you to sit and rest. This place is indeed real, and by faith, you can be transported to its reality where you are seated inside Christ next to God! Are you seated?
