You Will Be Unshakable!
Have you ever felt amazed by the amount of chaos happening in the world? It seems like an extra amount of shaking is going on right now! There is upheaval politically, economically, socially, and even geologically and atmospherically. The Bible says that in the last days, everything that can be shaken will be shaken.
Hebrews 12:25-29 See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? At that time, his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more, I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.”
Though the world and its systems will be shaken, God does not want his children to be afraid. What would it be like for you if the circumstances of life could never shake you? What would it be like to live outside of fear and stress? Sound good? Did you know that fear does not come from God? Inside God’s economy, fear is nonexistent! 1 John 4:18 says, “ There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. This state of being is reserved for those who, with childlike faith, choose to trust and rest in God!”
In other words, those who accept God’s love for them are those who will be unshakable! Fear has its foundation in condemnation. Those who do not trust the righteousness of God feel deserving of punishment because of what they know they have done wrong. On the contrary, those who live inside of God know that they are already forgiven through the sacrifice of Jesus and, therefore, can live free from fear!
My dearest friend, God wants you to know how deeply loved you are! God longs for you to know that he no longer counts your sins against you!
2Cor 5:18-19 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
Not only does God want you to know that you are forgiven, but he has also given you the ministry of revealing this truth to others. Thank you, Jesus!
In light of God’s love towards us and him being worthy of trust, I love the following scriptures.
Ps 125:1-2 Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people both now and forevermore.
Psalms 37:25 I was young, and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.
Psalm 84:12 O LORD Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in you.
Deut 31:8 The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
I love the promises of God! The one who trusts in God is the one who is blessed; he is the one who cannot be shaken! When you choose to trust God, you declare him to be the loving and faithful God that he is! When everything is shaking around you, you can know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God is not moved and will always be there for you!
I am praying for you today and asking God to increase your revelation of his faithfulness and love for you! May you be so inundated with God’s heart of love towards you that you become untouchable by the circumstances of life! Oh yes! May your hope be in the Lord! May you be convinced of his love! May you trust him completely! Oh, yes! It is God’s desire that in the middle of this world being shaken,…
You Will Be Unshakable!
