The Greatness of Your Love

The world needs a revelation of the greatness and completeness of God’s provision and love! People are searching high and low to find the secret to experiencing abundant life. Many are trying to obtain this life from a spouse, a friend, a job, or even hobbies, but those avenues always fall short of meeting their deepest needs and will leave them graphically disappointed. Though very few truly comprehend this reality, the secret to an abundant, rewarding, and fulfilling life is living each moment believing what God believes about us!

Because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, he sees us as perfect, and our beauty to him is overwhelming! Yes, he is head over heels in love with us! Consider this fact: God is so intimately concerned with our lives that he even keeps track of the number of hairs on our heads! What? How intense is that?! Have you ever loved someone so much that you kept track of the hairs on their head? I guess maybe if there are only a few to keep track of. :-) Understand this, God has your best interests in mind and his plans for you are beyond your wildest imagination! So what should you be doing to live in this abundant life? The answer is BELIEVE! Not only does God want you to have this abundant life, it is the very reason why Jesus came.

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. The New Living Translation says, “My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” God doesn’t need you to be perfect – he needs you to believe! Take a moment to let the following scriptures sink in.

Gal 3:7-9 Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham. Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.” So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.

Psalms 31:19  How great is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you, which you bestow in the sight of men on those who take refuge in you.”

Matthew 10:29-31  Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

God not only wants to pour out his love into you, but he also wants to pour out his love through you! How beautiful is that! The amount of love that can flow through you is determined by how much of his love you have believed and received.

Let this be our prayer today:

Lord, I take refuge in you! I put the total weight of my life in your hands! I choose to entrust my heart, in complete surrender, to your incredible love and watchful care over me! Because of Jesus, you see me as perfect, and his sacrifice alone makes me right with you! As I receive your amazing love for me, I choose to give it away freely!
