Recently I talked about a young man who left it all on the field at a track meet. What is it like to give everything that you are to something? I believe most people want something so important and valuable that they would live for it and even die for it. The word of God tells us that, “God so loved the world that he gave his only Son.” John 3:16 What was so important to God that he would be willing to give his son over to death? YOU AND ME! What in the world? Am I that valuable? Are you that valuable? Do you believe you are that valuable? That is the real question! 

Yes! The real question is what do you personally believe regarding God’s sacrifice that declares his love for you? Is it something you think about all the time? Is it essential in your daily life? Think about this: Input determines output! What you put in you and, therefore, meditate on determines your future! Mike Murdock said, “The price of your future is your present!” 

Our flesh wants what this world has to offer, but our spirit wants what God has to offer 

Proverbs 4:23  Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.  

Yes – above all else – above everything you must guard what goes in your eyes and ears! You must guard your heart because it will determine your future! Living the great life of God requires a focus on an intimate relationship with God. The secret to prayer is praying in secret.   

Matthew 16:24-25  Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.  For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. 

Look at what Jesus said, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit;  apart from me, you can do nothing.”  (John 15:5) 

Make no mistake, the abundant life God came to give us is preceded by a life filled with God and his thoughts! We must give our all to him (meaning total trust)! Absolute trust in God is resting in the finished work of the cross! This is where you no longer try to deserve God by your works; instead, you press on in life, knowing that you are already treasured and adored! This means that you are already righteous because of the blood of Jesus and, therefore, already favored by God!  

Oh, that we would believe this truth! The only way to tap into what God has for you is to believe it! There is nothing more important than giving God your total trust and resting in him consistently and continuously. Giving your all to God is living by faith! This means that you live believing that you are so beautiful and precious to God that you are literally his dream come true! Today is your day to believe God more than ever before! My dearest friend, I beg you today to open up your heart completely, withholding nothing! Oh, yes! Let today be the day where you…
