AMBASSADOR TO THE WORLD

Have you ever thought about what an ambassador is? The ambassadors of the United States are sent to other countries to deliver messages from our president. When an ambassador speaks, it’s as if the president is speaking. He does not speak whatever he wants but only says what he was told to say. 

Being a witness for God is very similar! As a matter fact, God calls you and I ambassadors! 

2 Corinthians 5:18-21 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin be for us so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Being an ambassador for Christ doesn’t always fit into the traditional, comfortable, feel-good lifestyle of the average, American churchgoer! As an ambassador of Christ, sometimes people come against you and try to stop you from sharing the good news of Jesus. But God’s plan for you during these times is far more important than your comfort. God wants you to be a witness of his divine and eternal love thus bringing about your true destiny and eternal blessing he longs to give you! 

Luke 21:12-13 “But before all this, they will lay hands on you and persecute you. They will deliver you to synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name. This will result in your being witnesses to them.

God has great reward for those who fulfill his eternal purpose here on earth! It doesn't mean that it will be easy, but it will be eternally, exceedingly worth it! Remember, loving those who come against you is one of the most potent ways to declare the reality of God and fulfill his eternal purpose! Don't shy away from those precious opportunities to release the truths of God’s marvelous love because you are the one God has anointed, and now is your season to be his…
