YOU CAN TRUST HIM

Can you, or should you trust God completely? Does it make sense to let go and put your full confidence in God? In all honesty, is God trustworthy? A decisive conclusion regarding this question will be the determining factor for your future relationship with God! Consider what the prophet Jeremiah says in regards to trusting in God.

This is what the LORD says: “Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the LORD. They are like stunted shrubs in the desert, with no hope for the future. They will live in the barren wilderness, in an uninhabited salty land. But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit. The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? But I, the LORD, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve.”

Jeremiah 17:5-10

One of the most deceitful ways the enemy tries to bring about a Christianity without power is to cause those who ascribe to it, to live by human strength and trying hard, instead of entirely resting in the power and provision of God. King David understood the power and blessing of fully trusting God, and he wrote, "Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him." Psalm 34:8

indeed, God is good and is more in love with you than you’ve ever been able to dream or comprehend! But be sure of this, there is no possible way to tap into God and his blessing without believing him! Look at this promise from God…

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” So, we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:5-6

God has always been, and will forever be, faithful! Sometimes we don't get what we want, but God is making sure that what is the very best for us is coming our way! He truly loves you today! God is making a way for you! Will you trust Him? Will you seek Him? He loves you! I want to challenge you today to let go – to believe God and to trust him completely! I promise you; he will never fail you. He is wholly trustworthy.

As I pray for you today, I am assured that your best life is yet to come, and access to that life happens when you make unqualified daily steps into the safe and reliable truth that…
