The DNA and Genetic Codes of God

Today I want to further encourage you regarding the power and extreme value of the Word of God.

On the first day of creation, God revealed the Word when he said, “Let there be light.” Genesis 1:3. It is important to note that the sun, moon, and stars were not created until the fourth day. The light that he was speaking of was not natural light; it was the revealing of Jesus Christ. Quoting Genesis 1:3, apostle Paul wrote, “For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.”  2 Cor 4:6. When God said, “let there be light,” he revealed to creation the glory of himself in the face of Christ. Wow! Astoundingly powerful!

On the third day of creation, God set into motion one of the most potent keys to life and success in the entire universe. Here is what He said.

Genesis 1:11-13  Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. 12 The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day.

It is important to remember that everything natural has a spiritual counterpart. Understanding the power of a seed is crucial to understanding how the kingdom of God operates. This concept is so essential that Jesus, when speaking of sowing and reaping, said to his disciples, “Don’t you understand this parable? How then will you understand any parable? Mark 4:13. God set up the entire universe to work on the principle of sowing and reaping. So it is with the kingdom of God.

The beginning of a person’s life in the kingdom of God starts with a seed. Jesus told Nicodemus, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” John 3:3. In order for there to be a birth, there must be a seed. Apostle Peter wrote, “For you have been born again not of corruptible seed but of incorruptible seed through the living and enduring Word of God.” 1 Peter 1:23. You see, everything reproduces after its own kind. In order for God to reproduce himself on this earth, he had to impart His seed within us. This is why God gave us his Word.

The Word of God is not just mere words; it is Seed – God’s DNA and genetic codes. In the Scripture above, we see that the Word of God is seed. The seed of a tree is not the tree in its fullness yet is the fullness of the tree. Similarly, the Word of God is not God in all of his fullness, for that would consume all of eternity, space, and time, yet the Word of God is the fullness of God.

John 1:1-3, 14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him, all things were made; without him, nothing was made that has been made. 14The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

The Word (Greek word Logos/Jesus) was with God, and the Word was God. All things were created by Him (the Word). The Word (Jesus) became flesh and dwelt among us. So, what is the Word of God? It is a bunch of words. What are words? Words are containers of pictures or images. The purpose of the Word of God is to cause your imagination to be overcome with the pictures or dreams of God – his precious thoughts towards us and the fullness of how he thinks! The Bible encourages us to “Cast down worthless imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” 2Cor 10:5

Every thought or imagination that comes to your mind that doesn’t line up with God’s precious thoughts towards you as defined in the Word of God must be demolished and brought into subjection to God’s thoughts!

Today, God longs for you to experience his reality, and that reality can only be tapped into when your thoughts become His thoughts. Oh, my dear friend, I pray that you grasp how powerful this is! The Word of God is God, and He (The Word) created the universe. The fullness of His (The Word’s) DNA and genetic codes are available for you to assimilate because you are appointed to become him on this earth. Do you understand? What’s available to you is beyond comprehension! Think about it – the mind-blowing Word of God in front of you is…
