Have you ever felt the need for an inside-out change or renewal in your life? Would you like to be so changed by God that you live just like him? What would that look like? It would be a life filled with the peace of knowing you’re right with God – a life of power because you’re moved and energized by the spirit of God – and a life overflowing with love and joy because that’s what you are receiving through the Holy Spirit every day.

Revival is a word that speaks of what happens when someone steps into the life of being radically loved by God, forgiving, and free. The Bible is replete with clues to this profound life available for those who believe.

The word of God paints a breathtaking picture of the church fully revived, a beautiful bride, saturated in the love of God, without spot or wrinkle, and clothed in the glory of God. I’m sure that you, like me, want God to revolutionize and harmonize every part of your being to be in complete harmony with your original design in God. Maybe you have been praying alongside me, saying something like this… “Oh God, please wreck me for this world to make me fully alive in Christ! May your truth consume me, and may your love overwhelm me!”

In light of this prayer, the story of Saul, son of Kish, is so encouraging! He met the prophet Samuel, was anointed, followed a few instructions from the prophet, and in one day was changed into another man!

1 Samuel 10:6-9  The Spirit of the LORD will come upon you in power, and you will prophesy with them, and you will be changed into a different person.  Once these signs are fulfilled, do whatever your hand finds to do, for God is with you.  “Go down ahead of me to Gilgal. I will surely come down to you to sacrifice burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, but you must wait seven days until I come to you and tell you what you are to do.”  As Saul turned to leave Samuel, God changed Saul’s heart, and all these signs were fulfilled that day.  

Wow! One touch from God and everything changed in the life of Saul! When the Spirit of the Lord comes upon you, there is nothing that can stop you!

The world is longing for the revealing of the true body of Christ! The secret to this revealing is the transformation process that comes from renewing our minds with what God believes about us. Getting our thoughts to line up with God’s thoughts is so important that the Holy Spirit penned these words through the apostle Paul.

Colossians 3:1-3 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

You alone have complete jurisdiction over your mind. Only you can set your mind on the truth that can transform you to be like Christ. No one else can do it for you! It is, therefore, of utmost importance that you take a hundred percent responsibility for your thoughts and, consequently, your future!

Please remember that the secret to your future is hidden within your daily routine! Yes – your habits. Your daily routine is what will connect you to the bright future God has for you! The opportunity of a lifetime is within your grasp because God has given you the key! God has given you the ability to choose life or death, blessing or cursing! When trusting God and renewing your mind to what he believes about you becomes your highest priority, purpose, success, and true significance become your way of life!

Oh, my dear friend, God wants this for you more than you want it for yourself! He wants you to love being you more than you want to love being you! Oh my God! I feel this!

Today is a gift to you from God! Now is your moment of opportunity! As I pray for you today, I am asking God to empower you to go deeper into the reality of your perfect standing with God provided to you through the sacrifice of Jesus! May today be your day to be fully engaged with God – all day! Oh yes! Today is your day for an inside-out change and renewal! Oh, yes – let it be a full-blown…
